Midnight City Surveys and Distribution Times!

Hello Backers! 

After a bit of a wait, everything is set with the Backerkit service! Please check your email over the next two to four days for your survey!  

Every survey should arrive to backer inboxes before April 24. Provided there are no delays, or problems with the survey process, all files should be arriving to Backers by April 28 at the latest. 

As mentioned in the previous update, if you have everything included in your Kickstarter pledge, it will already be in your Backerkit cart, so just click continue and you will be all set to receive your downloads! All preorders through the Backerkit service will be delivered on the same day as backer distribution. 

For those who expressed interest in changing pledge levels, the option to obtain the stretch goals with eligible pledges will be available to all Kickstarter backers by clicking a link in your survey. 

You do not need to select any stretch goal as individual add-ons if you are a Kickstarter backer,  and want to switch to a pledge that includes all of the unlocked rewards. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I can ensure you receive all of your stretch goal rewards with your set! 

After the surveys come in, please allow up to 3-4 days for distribution. I will manually be locking surveys and preparing them for distribution as they roll in. All files should be sent between April 24-28!  

It should be an easy process for everyone, with direct downloads sent in an email from Backerkit. Each reward will be a set of STL files delivered in a .rar format. I recommend using a software like WinRAR, or WinZip, to export these. 

If for some reason you do not receive your survey by April 24 at the latest, please send me a message directly so I can get you set up. I can then manually send you the survey link using your email address or directly through a Kickstarter direct message. 

Also, for those who requested access to the old Kickstarter shopping mall set, that is now available on the Backerkit service page for order. The Belmont Hills Mall set will be separate from all Midnight City add-ons and can be obtained at a later date, or added to your Backerkit cart with your survey.

Hello Backers!

Today, I have more information to share regarding the Backerkit services, the upcoming email surveys and the distribution time frame. For late pledges, the pre-order Backerkit page is now open. All pre-orders will be delivered on the same day as backer distribution. 

The limited time all-in combo is still available with all stretch goals included for any late pledges. Also, the fast combo pledge level options are still available on the pre-order page, bundled with all the stretch goals as well. For current backers, all surveys should be emailed within the next 10 days, or so.

All work on the stretch goals has now been completed, and these will be sent with the core set models! I am super excited to get these out to everyone, and onto your printers! So without any more delay, here are some photos of the printed pieces!  

I also want to give a special shout out to Antonio and the Backerkit team for helping to get everything set up! I really appreciate their help, and it should make distribution as easy and secure as possible for everyone! 

Once the surveys have been completed, everything will be locked, and distribution will occur. Estimated time for distribution will be sometime later in April, but I will have an exact date for everyone as soon as the surveys come back. 

The survey that backers receive will indicate that all pledge items are already added to your cart. So, if your pledge included all the stretch goals, there won't be anything else needed. Just click continue on the survey to complete, and you'll be all set for distribution. 

Backers can also change their pledge level with a link at the bottom of the survey box. For any questions you may have, please comment in your survey comment section, or message me directly.   

On a side note, for those who have requested access to the Belmont Hills Mall terrain set as an add-on, it appears I will have to add this item to the Backerkit service page before surveys are sent as it was not included in the Midnight City project. 

The mall will be available once the survey reaches your inbox on the main landing page, which is now live. This will be a separate item from any pledge levels in Midnight City, and can be obtained at a later date, or added during the survey completion. 

I will make a brief announcement about the shopping mall's availability once the distribution date is all set! Please let me know if you have any questions, including anything regarding how to complete your survey. Backerkit's team is also available for any assistance you may need during that process. I'll have a few more updates for you all as everything moves forward!

Hello Backers!

Thank you all for your support! 

Without your support Midnight City would not have been possible, and words alone can't express my gratitude. 

Your words of encouragement and excitement for the art has kept me hard at work, doing what I love, and I am super excited to share this new set of sculpts with you all! 

With the campaign seeing its close, my main focus now is to put the finishing touches on the remaining stretch goals over the next several days,  and to have everything delivered to you as soon as possible. I will keep everyone updated in the next two weeks as the Backerkit service will go live, once it gets the final approvals from the Backerkit team. 

The delivery date is still dependent on Backerkit and how fast everything can get set up, but it should be sometime from mid to late-April. I will have more specific information on what to expect following the surveys that will be sent out through email. The main body of work on every single file, including all of the stretch goals has now been completed, so the wait should not be long! 

For all printer's license pledges, there will be a question in the emailed Backerkit survey regarding the license activation date. 

Also, as a side note, many supporters of Midnight City have expressed interest in obtaining the terrain files from the previous Belmont Hills Shopping Mall Kickstarter campaign. As I wanted the sculpts for Midnight City to stand on their own, I did not include the Belmont Hills Mall or any of the former City Builder urban structure designs in this campaign. 

With such overwhelming interest in the shopping mall, backers of Midnight City will get exclusive access to the shopping mall files through the Midnight City Backerkit as an available add-on. The mall add-on will be a complete Mall Rat level set, which includes all six of the City Builder buildings, exclusive shopping mall terrain pieces, stretch goals, holiday scenery bonus pack and more!  

This will be added and distributed via the Midnight City Backerkit as soon as all the Midnight City project files are delivered. The shopping mall will remain on the add-on page for backers of this project, and can be obtained at a later date once the rewards for Midnight City have been sent!

All Stretch Goals Unlocked! - 72 Hours Remaining

Hello Backers!

All of the Midnight City stretch goals have now been unlocked! Thank you all for your support of the Midnight City project, which has made this all possible! 

I am super excited to share these with you all for a fully complete Midnight City tabletop experience! Your comments, messages, and shared excitement has helped me through every step of the process. 

With all the stretch goals unlocked, players will now be able to create a city of 10-12 unique primary structures and even more variations when using the modular OpenLOCK tile system, and roof tops! 

This includes the suburban home expansion set with roadways complete with street lights and outdoor terrain across their tabletop for a richer experience!  

 As we move into the final 72 hours of the campaign and beyond, I am finishing my work on the final design steps and quality inspections for all of the stretch goals in order to limit the wait time. 

I will have more to share in the coming days on my progress, and what to expect with the Backerkit service as surveys are sent out. 

It is my hope that all backers will receive their core set and all stretch goal rewards all at once, so I am working very hard to make that happen for everyone!

Campaign Week Four - Backerkit Info and More

Hello Backers! 

As we move into the final week of the Kickstarter campaign, I wanted to share some progress updates, and let everyone know what you can expect following April 7! 

All of the unlocked stretch goals as of today are currently in their final stages, and will likely be distributed with the core set following the campaign if I can continue to keep up the pace. 

The Neon Nights Victorian Urban building is the last remaining stretch goal to unlock, and is in its final design/test printing stage as well.  

I'm super excited to get these files out to everyone, and its my hope that everyone will get everything all at once by the distribution date, so I am working really hard to make that happen! 

Following the campaign, all backers should receive an email survey directly from Backerkit's services, which will make the distribution process easy and secure for everyone. I will have more details on exact dates for everything in a future update.
